The idea of Islamabad Diagnostic Center started with a mission to offer all under one roof clinical diagnostic services and to become the most trusted & reliable healthcare services provider in Pakistan.

Founded in 2005, Islamabad Diagnostic Centre, brain child of Dr. Rizwan Uppal is the first diagnostic facility providing entire spectrum of imaging & lab services under one roof. Since inception, IDC has built a successful track record and is known for its latest imaging technologies, broad range of laboratory tests and quick turn-around times, with over 2500 staff members, and one of Pakistan's largest pool of qualified Radiologists and Pathologists on its team.

The imaging modalities are connected with each other through PACS where doctors from abroad are also involved to make tele diagnosis. It is also the only diagnostic centre in the capital that provides lab and imaging services on 24/7 basis, 365 days a year.

Diagnostic services opened to the public in 2003 at Wah Cantt as the first branch starting on the name of my late father (Dr. Aslam Uppal) and adding the second branch of IDC at F8 Markaz, Islamabad in 2005. Here I must appreciate, the contribution and support of Dr. Muhammad Rehan Uppal, as my co-founder.  Today, after 18 years, Alhamdulillah IDC network has reached 90 plus centers spread across 30 plus cities of Pakistan.
